Our Mission

The Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a supportive community for individuals and groups exploring expanded states of consciousness. Our mission is to promote personal growth, mental health, and well-being through practices such as meditation, movement, spiritual exploration, and the safe and intentional use of plant medicines and entheogenic compounds.

Based in Santa Cruz, California, we provide opportunities for local engagement through activities such as Peer Integration sessions, Microdosing Hikes, and our monthly educational community event, The Psychedelic Connection. Our work is rooted in creating a safe, inclusive, and informed space for learning, connection, and healing.

We do not provide or sell any illegal substances and fully comply with all local laws and regulations.

Elder Revolution: Aging with Psychedelic Experiences
Join us for an evening of connection with your local psychedelic community, chance to learn, ask questions, and be part of something bigger. Hear from Abbie Rosner on elder revolution and aging with psychedelic experiences, with music from Steven Walters.

The Psychedelic Connection

The Psychedelic Connection is our monthly gathering for the local psychedelic community. Live music, educational talks, and visionary art with fellow psychonauts. Organized by Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society. We're refreshing this series for the season ahead, new dates coming shortly.
Microdosing Hikes

A community walk through the Santa Cruz forest with optional BYOM microdosing. Join us and spend time connecting with the earth, learning about the nature around us, sometimes pausing for meditation, and building community along the way. We're taking a short break to plan our next round of hikes, check back soon for upcoming dates!

Individual Membership

Every month

Every membership goes directly toward supporting the Psychedelic Society of Santa Cruz and helping us bring harm reduction and educational events to our community. Your membership supports community building, research, decriminalization in the county, and making a difference in your community. Your membership covers the suggested donation for regular SCPS Events such as First Fridays and community hikes. Breathwork sessions, workshops, and other events may have their own suggested donation.
